Programs & Events

The Friends of WFPL exists to enhance the library, literacy, and learning in Escambia County. It’s a big task, but we’re up to it… with YOUR help. Each time you make a donation of your money, time, and talents, the Friends are able to fulfill its mission by helping plan and support the needs of the library and our community.

One way we do this is through special programs and events like:

  • Age of Champions Documentary & Discussion
  • Discover Earth Exhibit & Grant
  • Explore Pensacola History Programs & Grant
  • Children’s Summer Reading Club
  • Author Visits & Book Signings
  • Blacks in Literature & Film Round Table Discussion
